Pfizer Vaccine In Pakistan Available Now
Pakistani Government National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has issued guidelines for administering the Pfizer vaccine in Pakistan and directed that priority be given to Pakistanis traveling abroad.
According to senior official of the Health Department received to Newspointnet Pfizer vaccine would be given to those traveling abroad as per the instructions of the NCOC.
The Pfizer vaccine is designed for people who want to travel abroad for employment or education or will be preferred for travelers who want to travel to countries where the Pfizer vaccine is required.
Pfizer vaccine has also been allocated for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims and as soon as the Hajj operation is announced pilgrims under the age of 40 will be given preference for Pfizer vaccine.
The Pfizer vaccine has not been received yet. As soon as the federal government provides the vaccine to all the provinces of Pakistan the vaccination process will be started.
It is hoped that the federation will start providing the vaccine after receiving the second batch of Pfizer after which the guidelines will be formally announced.
As we all know that Saudi Arabia have approved AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines for travelers coming from abroad but in Pakistan only people over the age of 40 are allowed to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca Vaccine.
With the Arrival of Pfizer vaccine to Pakistanis traveling abroad will remove travel barriers for travelers under the age of 40.
