Saudi New Iqama Fee 2022
Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development clarified the mechanism for calculating the breakdown of obtaining the value of the work permit, the financial consideration, and the fees necessary to issue and renew residency related to work permits on a quarterly basis, with the exception of domestic workers and the like.
The Ministry estimated the value of work permit fees at 100 riyals for each migrant worker, and the financial compensation is paid for each migrant worker on the job under the unified number of the facility provided that the financial compensation is calculated on a monthly basis.
The ministry added that the financial compensation for each migrant worker does not exceed the number of Saudi workers estimated at 8,400 annually and 700 per month while the value of the financial compensation for each migrant worker in the event of an increase in the number of Saudi workers is 9600 riyals annually and 800 per month.
The license fee and the financial consideration are collected with the issuance or renewal of the work permit, and the license fee is 100 riyals divided into periods, while the financial compensation is divided according to the license period.
Financial compensation in excess of the number of Saudi workers is collected for the units for which the fees should be paid first and then the financial compensation for the labor equal to the number of Saudi workers is collected.
The event that the worker has late work permits, all arrears are requested to be paid when issuing or renewing the worker’s work permit, provided that the fees for the previous late years are calculated based on the price of the financial compensation currently due for the labor, and the financial dues are not divided from the delayed work permits
